A loved-one remembered
This piece was a real labour of love. Not only was it commissioned by a customer who lost her dad to esophageal cancer just days before contacting me but it required a massive amount of single-stranded stitching. I thought about her family the entire time I stitched. They kept me in good company when the stitches became so dense that I struggled to pierce the fabric!
I hope you agree that the end result was worth the sore fingers.
