A vintage take on anatomy
It was a treat to tackle the brain in monochrome rather than my usual false colours because it represented a new challenge. The lovely customer who commissioned it wanted something reminiscent of the vintage brain images found in old anatomy books. As you can see, the folds are represented with the tiniest stitches, some of which are just a few millimetres long.
